L. Glenn Poppleton and Ron Gubin founded Avid Touring Group, Ltd. in 2005. Following a stint in theatrical management and publicity, L. Glenn began a 14-year association with Dodger Touring Limited/D-Tours as the booking agent for Dodger Productions and a wide variety of independent producers. National tours included The Secret Garden, Guys and Dolls, The Who's Tommy, Angels in America, the first seven seasons of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The King and I starring Hayley Mills, Blast!, Urinetown, 42nd Street, Deaf West’s Big River, two tours of Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan, and twelve seasons of Mandy Patinkin in Concert. L. Glenn was president of Dodger Touring from 2001-2005.

Prior to joining D-Tours, L. Glenn managed the three-year New York run of the interactive play Tamara and worked in the press office for the New York Shakespeare Festival and several Broadway shows. L. Glenn was part of the management team that opened and operated Boston's Wang Center from 1980-83. A graduate of Northeastern University, he is the proud father of twin boys Alexander and Marc.
